Be Thoughtful on Valentines day 2014

Put some thought into Valentines Day 2014 – show your love

Why do we need to be forced into being romantic once a year?

I think it’s because sometimes it takes a little nudging to remember to be romantic!

It’s nice to receive jewellery or roses or other lovey dovey things. But sometimes it’s the simple things or the things you don’t normally do for the other person that are the best or most appreciated. For instance; making them breakfast or baking them a cake.

I love these stencils by Sophia Victoria Joy on Not On The Highstreet. You can personalise them too. Maybe pick ‘Be Mine’ to woo a man with a coffee addiction or ‘Love you’ on a breakfast coffee for your partner.

Perhaps you could make the bed for your partner and sneak in a pillow case like this from Karin Akesson:

Or maybe you know she likes a bath but never has time for one. Make it a relaxing evening; run the bath, pop open a bottle of champagne, some gorgeous candles scattered around the room and a luxurious soft towel warming on the radiator.
