I thought I better get started on the list I made of exhibits to see in London.

So when I had an hour spare yesterday I took the opportunity to pop into the Fashion and Textiles Museum and see their current exhibition Belleville Sassoon.

They had on display some great pieces throughout the times from Belleville Sassoon taking you right up to the current day with Mullany now at the helm creating patterns for people to make their own pieces.

They have some of the patterns on display and also some of the dresses made up.

It’s nice to see the details of these beautiful dresses up close.

Even if the styles are not to your taste (because they are very much of the style/fashion of their time) you can appreciate the luxurious workmanship that went into them.
